what is obesity?

Obesity is basically a state wherein the human body becomes excessively fat. In the recent years, more and more people are becoming obese, to say the least. The food we eat is not digested properly and it is not converted to energy. Instead, the fat component is accumulated in the body leading to obesity. People suffering from obesity, also suffer from various other problems like getting tired quite often, increased risk of blocks in the blood vessels and so on. In some cases, they also suffer from mental trauma. Obesity can also be due to various hereditary factors. Researchers point out that every person out of twenty is prone to be affected by obesity. Much depends on our eating habits. We have to ensure that we eat the right quantity at the right time. We must be careful not to eat excessively. Once affected by obesity, a person must take great care in restructuring his/her diet. Proper planning has to be made regarding the timings of the food intake and the necessary exercises that are to be taken to overcome this problem. A person can also seek proper medical guidance and work out accordingly. Last but not the least; one must never give up hope.
